I hope everyone had a great weekend! I had a busy but good day yesterday. . .except for when I thought my car had been stolen (no joke). I always park in the same place outside my local Dillard's store at the mall. When I went outside, my car was no where to be found. I even tried to set my alarm off, but no luck. I was seriously starting to panic, but before raising the alarm, I decide to walk back inside again to make sure I had came in that door. As soon as I walked in, I realized I had come in by the junior's dresses, not the purses, and found my car!hahaha Shew. Thank God I didn't panic and call someone. Has anyone else ever done this??? Fess up, because I know I'm not the only one. . .
Anyways, you all know from this post that I am mad for buffalo plaid this year. It's finally gotten cool enough to start breaking out my new pieces for fall, and that includes this cardigan from Target. I snagged it for $15 about a month or so ago, but I've seen it similarly priced since then. You just need to keep a check on Target's sales and on the Cartwheel app.
I picked up my shoes from Old Navy last year when they were on major sale. Good news, though--Old Navy has a very similar pair back in stock now. They go perfect with this cardigan. The patterns are just different enough to keep it from being too matchy-matchy.
To keep the vibe relaxed, I paired them with a simple tee and jeans, but then I kicked everything up a notch with my favorite Kendra Scott necklace. I think you all already know how much I love this necklace. I'm so glad I bought it because I wear it with everything I own. Ooo, and these Elisabeth Ashlie earrings are a great deal. Howlite is really popular in jewelry right now.
Tee: Old Navy
Pants: J. Crew Factory (warning: I'm tall and still went w/ the short length!)
Shoes: Old Navy

Later this week, I'll be sharing my must-have eyeshadow palette that I've been using to create my recent fall looks.
How are you wearing buffalo plaid this fall?
