Walmart Family Mobile: Say Goodbye to Data Overages

As a young professional who is also a wife, mom, and blogger, I use my cell phone a lot.  I'm always checking something, responding to someone, or connecting in general.  I think it goes without saying that I use a lot of data, but sometimes it just can't be helped.  When I have a deadline to meet or things to take care of, it's annoying to have to worry about going over my monthly data limit. Furthermore, it irritates me when I get data overages, causing me to go over the monthly cell phone budget.  Seriously, though, who else has this problem?  So I recently tried Walmart Family Mobile Plus.

Walmart Family Mobile PLUS is an awesome cell phone plan that gives you unlimited talk, text, and data, which includes up to 10 GB of 4G LTE.  When I heard that I could kiss data overage charges goodbye, it was music to my ears. This means that I can Instagram to my heart's content, let Kane watch his favorite videos online while we're having to wait somewhere, and download the large attachments I sometimes receive for my job when I need to read email on the go.

The best part?  The Walmart Family Mobile PLUS plan is only $49.88 per line each month! This is a great value when you consider how much data you're getting. And to make it even better, you also get a free movie on VUDU every month ($7 value).  We can't wait to have a family date night at home and watch our free movie this month on our TV using the Roku!

You can pick which phone you want to purchase for your plan.  I've had Samsung phones for the past several years, so I chose the Samsung Galaxy Grand Prime.  It was only $99 (on sale/rollback from $149)*.  That is the cheapest phone purchase I've made since first owning a cell phone. And there's no contract to worry about either.  You do have to purchase a Starter Kit, which is a one time fee of $25 per phone, if you're not already using Walmart Family Mobile as your service provider.

Tax season is the perfect time to upgrade your plan and your phone, since many people get refund checks and have a little bit of extra money.  That way, you don't have to worry about budgeting for the extra expense of buying a new phone and getting a new plan set up, while still getting more data at a value.

Overall, I'm really pleased with Walmart Family Mobile Plus and the phone I chose.  The service picks up great in central Kentucky, and the prices are so budget-friendly.  It empowers me to succeed by allowing me to get everything done I need to do on my cell phone without worrying about plan limits. It's the perfect solution for young professionals who are looking for affordable cell phone service without having to make plan or phone sacrifices. And I know my everyone in my family will be relieved that I'm not being the data police and constantly informing them that we're about to go over our data plan for the month.

Are you ready to try out Walmart Family Mobile PLUS?  It's so easy.  Just head to your local Walmart and look for the signs pictured below.  My local Walmart has a Walmart Wireless center at the front of the store, but if yours doesn't, look for the signs in the electronics department. Also, I researched the phone I wanted online before I went, so I was in and out in less than 10 minutes, and it took me about the same amount of time to get my phone set up.
