April showers bring
My top is yet another find from the recent 40% off Merona sale at Target. I grabbed it as I was heading to check out without even trying it on because it was just that cute! Trust me when I say that the print is literally eye-catching. You can check out a couple other of my sale finds here.
Evidently part of my necklace was stuck in my top. Oops! It happens, guys. I chose a plain gold statement necklace because I wanted my necklace to complement my outfit, not compete with it. I'm also wearing a dainty gold cuff and a simple pearl ring. I found my ring in Charleston at their downtown market. The simplicity and artisanship of the piece drew me in.
My black tulle skirt was a perfect choice to bring out the black stripes in the top. It contracts nicely with the bright colors of the top, while still letting the top be the star of the show. Another great option would be to wear a black eyelet skirt. That's also why I chose simple black pumps and a nude bag.
